I don’t give a damn if the director is George Lucas, the zombie of Walt Disney or fucking Hideo Kojima. The thing is that there’s no fucking reason to expand Star Wars even more after Ep VI. What the shit.
Exactly. People are bitching that it’s DISNEY, but… hey now, Disney bought Marvel and are doing great things with it. I’m just boggled as to why they want to move onto an Episode VII.
Why not, though?
You said it yourself, if they reach into the EU and do stories there, it could be great. Why not let more films be made and expand Star Wars and tell new stories? Episode VII could be as awesome as the original trilogy was. Why not give it a shot?
As said before Disney bought Marvel and look at the success of it. If Disney wants someone make an Episode VII that’s great, it’ll have Disney’s backing money and power so cool. We’ll get to see someone else’s vision of what star wars is. I’ll watch it, if it’s shit well most “fans” watched the second trilogy and thought it was shit so it’s no different.
That’s a good point. Disney could pretty much do all the expanded universe stuff.
Emma Stone will play Mara Jade of course.
