I’m floored that brick & mortar stores wonder why in the hell they’re losing business to the internet when they can’t be arsed to stock things.
I went to Target today and stopped by the toy isle to see if they had anything new or at least anything I wanted.
- Avengers stuff = barely there. No Loki at all. Even Thor was a bit cleaned out.
- MLP: Old things. Never any new figures.
- Monster High: I’m lucky they even carry it I guess.
Toys R Us is the same way. This one makes me mad. Their whole schtick is toys. Why can’t they have a decent selection? We already have a Babies R Us in town, so get rid of all the infant clothes. Shit, it’s even right across the street.
I don’t get it. I want to spend my money, and I would prefer to spend it locally, but more often than not I find myself disappointed. I bet if I were to search Amazon right now I’d find what I want.
A lot of times right now it’s individual sellers on Amazon, with way jacked up prices.
I go through Hasbro themselves, but, you have to get the whole case and a lot of people don’t like doing that.
